Creart Studioz (located in Bothell, WA) offers in-studio Art classes, Art Camps, and After-school Art Enrichment Programs. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Part-time Art Teacher who enjoys working with kids.
This is a part time position that has a ton of opportunity for growth!
What we are looking for in the ideal candidate
- Passionate about art and enjoys working with children
- Art related degree & familiarity with at least two of these art medium(s): watercolor, chalk pastel, oil pastel, pencil or charcoal, acrylics, etc.
- 1 or more years’ of art teaching experience is a plus (teaching license is not required)
- Effective "classroom” management that is in alignment with honoring each child and the creative process. Teachers must be comfortable and happy to set-up and clean-up for the art session
- Confident, friendly, easily approachable with excellent interpersonal skills
- Support Curriculum Development
- Flexible Schedules on weekdays and willingness to commute for after-school enrichment classes
- Background check required
