Summer Camp 2023

Can you believe another summer is here? We're so excited to offer a 4th Holiday Art Camp season full of fun, creativity, and art making for kids aged 4 - 14. Campers will leave no paint bucket unturned using materials and tools found inside and outside the art box. Challenge your inner artist while you design and create sculptures, wearable art pieces, and explore art from around the world.

Summer Camp Schedule

Camp 1: Krazy Kooky Kolorful (June 21 - 23) - 3 Days

3 Day Camp: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Join us to create art by using all the colors we can possibly find! How many colors can you think of? Learn the “magic” of mixing colors to make new colors while making fabulous drawings, paintings and sculptures.

Camp 2: To Infinity & Beyond (June 26 - 30) - 5 Days

5 Day Camp: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Launch into space! Build miniature spaceships and journey to new planets and far away galaxies. Explore black holes and discover alien civilizations....all while wathing out for the monsters, aliens, and robots that might be lurking. You’ve been forewarned!

Camp 3: Magical Creatures (July 5 - 7) - 3 Days

3 Day Camp: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Track wild and wonderful beasts as you stuff, build, draw, and paint fantastical creatures of your own. Its time to let your imagination run wild in a world of magical creatures. Get ready for an enchanted time at this camp!

Camp 4: Wearable Art (July 10 - 14) - 5 Days

5 Day Camp: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Do you love to accessorize or make your own wearable stuff? Have you always wanted to learn how to embellish your own T-shirt or make your own beads? Spend the week creating your own amazing wearable treasures. Explore material use, learn about sewing & embroidery, and the beauty of things handmade.

Camp 5: Aquatic Adventures (July 17 - 21) - 5 Days

5 Day Camp: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Sharks, octopuses, fish, coral, shipwrecks, mermaids, and so much more. Campers will learn about and recreate many different sea creatures. Be challenged and inspired to create magical underwater art while learning painting and drawing techniques.

Camp 6: Welcome to the Jungle (July 24 - 28) - 5 Days

5 Day Camp: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

This camp is going to be wild! Students will learn about African animal species and animal
conservation while creating art projects that focus on learning a variety of art techniques including drawing, printmaking and sculpture. Paint, sketch and learn about our furry, fuzzy and scaly friends.

Camp 7: Wearable Art (Jul 31 - Aug 4) - 5 Days

5 Day Camp: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Camp 8: Clay for Kids (Aug 7 - 11) - 5 Days

5 Day Camp: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Explore the magical medium of clay  and enjoy your pieces for a long time to come! Students will learn the techniques of pinch, coil and slab and work to create relief sculptures, wearable ceramic pieces, and functional pieces of pottery.

Camp 9: Clay for Kids (Aug 14 - 18) - 5 Days

5 Day Camp: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

What a Typical Day Looks Like

Daily Schedule (9:30 am - 12:30 pm)

9:30 am - 10:00 am - Free choice time, invitations to create. Imaginative, sensory play

10:00 am - 11:00 am - Main project

11:00 am - 11:30 pm - Snack, game, outdoor time

11:30 pm - 12:15pm - Art project extension time or self directed art making with a variety of tools and materials 

12:15 pm - 12:30pm - Story, quiet drawing, pack up to go home

What to bring: Please send your child with a snack, lunch and water bottle. We are a NUT FREE studio
